The three lieutenants whispered excitedly behind their leader as the fight they were watching ended and the scrying pool turned transparent again. He dismissed the three immediately, the response was positive, his choice was made.
Alvonier Reivond strolled around his chamber musing about how plan their plan has had gone–a battlemage to help their guild’s ascension in Calimport’s long and winding streets. Of course, this means that they would need to take care of one little crease that might mess up their grand plan–the ranger.
It would be no easy feat. The ranger, with no battle experience at all, just brutally murdered more than half of the brigands with no spellcasting to aid him in his exertions. The warrior was a genius, no doubt about it. Each strike was calculated down to the smallest detail with very few mistakes–every move he made was there for a reason, may it be to feint an enemy for combat advantage or to move into a more comfortable position. It was like a perfect game of chess.
He pushed a stray hair away from his face. This leader has made plenty of difficult decisions lately and this was definitely one that need a lot of attention. But one thing was for sure: their ascension is at hand.
ok… so what if it’s a bit short for a part 2… I’m having a writer’s mental block at the moment due to sleepiness but at least I tried, right? don’t bash me if you can’t relate.
